Around this time of year, I usually post something about the true meaning of Christmas. Many people are intelligent enough to realize this true meaning and see through the brightly-colored lights and wrapping paper to Christmas’ true, delicious core. The question is whether or not that first Christmas gift will be accepted. Conviction need not occur only around Easter, although that’s certainly a time to be cognizant of God’s grace to mankind.
In order to avoid being too didactic, I’ll close with these awful, awful Christmas jokes (from here):
What do they call Santa’s helpers?
Subordinate ClausesWhat do you call Santa Clause after he’s fallen into a fireplace?
Krisp KringleWhich of Santa’s reindeers needs to mind his manners the most?
“Rude”olphWhy was Santa’s little helper depressed?
Because he had low elf esteem.
…I’m sorry. Merry Christmas!
