Adobe has some of the worst coded software available. There’s no reason why it should take over 20 seconds to load a 200 KB PDF. All of the painful initialization processes are completely superfluous and could clearly be better-optimized. I won’t boycott their software though, because Photoshop’s the best imaging program around (after its painful startup). I could probably find another PDF viewer though…hmm…
